BAR LINA

SHOREDITCH - LONDON

Bar Lina is a sultry delight with low lighting and reflective surfaces creating an intimate mood located on the lower ground of a Victorian bank. Central to the space, a long monolithic communal bar table is crafted from moody Rosso Levanto polished marble overhung by bespoke chrome pendant lights. Black oak plank wood flooring adds depth to the space, while the walls and ceiling, retaining their natural texture, have been uniformly painted in a gloss dark cherry hue and feature a mirrored runner. Floor-to-ceiling curtains in a deep burgundy hue frame one end of the space, adding warmth and softness as their colour and texture are mirrored around the room.

Flowing through the lounge area relaxed low-level sofa seating in a deep burgundy upholstery frames the space and features a brushed steel kicker as the material palette evolves but remains familiar. Round bespoke accent chairs and back-painted glass tables elevate the feel here with mirrored wall arches and intimate mood lighting punctuating the walls for a cocktail space that is transportive and authentic.  The bank's old vault becomes a sunken conversational pit, with a plush, tonal rust red carpeted floor and matching low sofa seating evoking the feel of a late 70s New York cocktail den with an Italian style and flair.
